Industrial products supplier Affinia Group has relocated and expanded its west coast Global Brake & Chassis Distribution Center after continued growth in the western United States and Canada.
Distribution services have been moved from a 150,000-square-foot facility in Modesto, California to a new 390,000-square-foot facility in Patterson, California.
"This new facility will ensure that Affinia's customers in these important markets will continue to receive fast, reliable and convenient access to our growing product lines," said H. David Overbeeke, president of Affinia Global Brake & Chassis.
"An essential element of our World Smart business model is to assure that our facilities are strategically located for responsive customer service; this new center represents yet another element in our ongoing optimization program."
Affinia Group designs, manufactures, distributes and markets industrial grade products and services, including aftermarket parts for automotive and heavy-duty vehicles. With approximately $1.8 billion in annual revenue, Affinia has operations in North and South America, Europe, and Asia.
